Why choose American Auction Associates

Auctioneer Steve Laubly graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 1974.
He became a member of the National Auctioneer’s Association in 1975, and has both attended and instructed seminars on various aspects of the auction business since then.

He graduated from the Nationwide University of Real Estate Auctioneering in 1981

The "American Auction Advantage"

Steve began his auctioneering career by doing auctions of art and jewelry in the mid ’70s for the #1 Gallery of Art, Wild Bear Trading Company, and Silver & Gold Jewelry Company, along with several charity fund-raiser auctions each year.

In the early ”80s he started doing business liquidations auctions, mostly with industrial machinery, construction equipment, restaurants, and various retail businesses.

In the late ’90s Steve moved his family to the California Central Valley where he continued with his business liquidations, real estate, and charity auction business, again as American Auction Associates.

Real Estate

In 1982, with the help of a local real estate broker, Steve started “American Auctions Associates Real Estate Division”.

After auctioning hundreds of properties for New Home Builders, Banks & Lenders, & Private Parties all over the state,  American Auction became the largest real estate auction company in Northern California.

Steve then joined up with one of the largest real estate franchises in the country and became Century 21 San Tomas Auction Division,  and he went on to sell a lot of real estate through them.
